Bowls NSW is a governing body for the sport of Lawn Bowls in NSW. It is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented finance professional with extensive experience in corporate and not for profit finance and transaction services.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:Playing a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.Preparation and review of the monthly business performance report and rolling 12-month forecasts.Overseeing annual tax processes.Weekly Payroll and transaction services processes.Development and refinement of management accounting and reporting, including metrics/KPI’s and enhanced business analysis.Completion of statutory financial accounts.Ensuring adherence with group policies and procedures.Building, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.Developing a strong working relationship with the Finance Director, Accountant and Auditors.Implementing the business strategic plan and managing strategic projects.The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:A minimum 5 years’ experience in finance management in a corporate or not for profit business.Proficient in MYOB Accounting Software.Strong leadership and motivational skills.Ability to work autonomously.Sound judgement, integrity and honesty.Strong analytical, modelling and commercial reporting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ideally have qualifications in bookkeeping and/or accountancy.The position is for a minimum 12-month contract and will commence at 25 hours per week.Hours can be flexible and there may be opportunity to work from home for part of those hours.The total hours worked per week may change as business needs arise.Salary will be negotiable. Applications Close 5pm Friday 24th July 2020. Position Description
